Green Drinks

In November 2023, our very own Chairman Tim (Timothy) Martin was a guest speaker to highlight the pekapeka tou-roa (long-tailed bat) who are living in Pukenui Forest. The talk also focused on how you (the public) can help protect the bats and dealing to their predators.

Green Drinks serves as a global grassroots networking initiative that brings together individuals monthly with a shared commitment to environmental sustainability in a relaxed social setting.

The November event was held at the Hundertwasser Art Centre on their afforested rooftop. What a great spot!

This is a fairly new project so watch this space! More news to come with regular updates including volunteer opportunities which is vital as part of this (pekapeka) project. If you would like to know more please Contact Us.
