NZ Tomtit “miromiro” Sightings

Spring has Sprung! NZ tomtit “miromiro” or North Island species “toitoi”.
Residents of Karanui estate and Three Mile Bush rd are increasingly reporting sightings of these birds. We reckon that’s good enough anecdotal evidence to show that our pest management and work of the rangers and volunteers is making a difference in the health of the forest.
If you see/photograph one, make sure you add to our iNaturalist site or send us an image.
